New PMI standard for WBS published

PMI just published the new Practice Standard for Work Breakdown Structures [WBS].

I am proud I was part of a team of 6 project management professionals from around the world, that wrote this new standard in a joint effort that lasted almost two years.

As PMI captioned it, WBS is a key input to a project's schedule, budget, risk, and performance tracking upon which to report project status and progress in a unified and standard manner.
